Chlorimuron Ethyl 25% WP
a selective, systemic, post-emergence herbicide belonging to the sulfonylurea group. It is used to control susceptible broad-leaved weeds and certain sedges in soybean and transplanted paddy. It works by inhibiting the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, disrupting essential amino acid production and stopping weed growth.
The herbicide is absorbed by weeds and translocated within the plant, helping control unwanted vegetation that competes with crops for nutrients, water, sunlight, and space. Its wettable powder (WP) formulation is mixed with water for application at the recommended crop and weed growth stage.
