Tricyclazole 70% WG

is a systemic fungicide formulation developed for the management of blast disease in paddy (rice). It contains Tricyclazole as its active ingredient at 70% concentration and is formulated as water-dispersible granules (WG). When mixed with water according to the approved directions, the granules disperse to form a spray mixture suitable for crop application.Tricyclazole works by interfering with melanin biosynthesis in the blast fungus, Magnaporthe oryzae (also known as Pyricularia oryzae). Melanin is important for the fungus to penetrate plant tissues. By disrupting this process, Tricyclazole helps protect rice plants against blast infection when applied at the appropriate stage and rate.
